On July 5, 2013, Vin "Cuddy" Jackson, age 26, was fatally shot in New Orleans. Jackson, who was known by his nickname "Cuddy," passed away in the early morning hours on July 6, shortly after the incident. He was a father of three and was remembered by family and friends for his loving nature. The New Orleans Police Department responded to the incident and launched an investigation into the homicide.
