Luis Mendoza, a 35-year-old resident of La Puente, California, tragically lost his life on July 3, 2021, in a car-to-car shooting incident on the 60 Freeway in Hacienda Heights. Mendoza was driving his white Chevrolet Avalanche with his two teenage sons, aged 13 and 16, when a gray compact vehicle pulled up alongside them in the carpool lane.
