Shannon Betz, a 52-year-old resident of Vista, California, was tragically found dead on August 8, 2021. The cause of death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of death was ruled as homicide. Betz's body was discovered by his roommate, who had been on vacation and returned home to find Betz deceased in his bedroom. The victim was found nude on his bed, and his wallet was missing, indicating a possible robbery.
