Jane Meredith Daugherty, a 65-year-old resident of Capitola, California, was found dead in her home on August 23, 2021. Known for her musical talent and community involvement, Jane's death shocked and saddened her friends and family. She was discovered during a welfare check after her daughter, who lived outside the county, was unable to reach her over the weekend.
