Andru Brandon Ransome, a 20-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on October 29, 2021, in Westlake, California. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, Ransome was shot near the northbound 101 Freeway at Silver Lake Boulevard. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
