On November 19, 2021, Kimberly Hauersperger, a 31-year-old resident of Modesto, California, was found dead in her apartment on Canal Street. The discovery was made after the Tulare County Sheriff's Office located a vehicle registered to the Modesto address and requested a security check from the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office.
