On November 29, 2021, Meba Solomon Getachew, a 32-year-old resident of Oak Run, California, was found dead alongside 33-year-old Gunnar Eliot Yeager. Both men were discovered near two parked vehicles on a dirt road off Zig Zag Lane in Oak Run. The Shasta County Sheriff's Office determined that both victims had been shot to death.
