On May 30, 2022, 32-year-old Jose Luis Ortiz Dejesus was tragically shot and killed in San Juan Capistrano, California. The incident occurred just after 9 p.m. when deputies were dispatched to the 2600 block of Calle San Francisco following reports of unknown trouble.
