Marco Carral Duran, a 23-year-old security guard from San Jose, California, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2022, in a double murder-suicide incident. Duran was working at an apartment complex when he intervened in a domestic dispute between Erica Chanon Hernandez and her estranged husband. The altercation escalated, resulting in Hernandez and Duran being fatally shot by Hernandez's husband, who then took his own life.
