Carlyle Phillips, a 29-year-old resident of Cypress, California, tragically lost his life on July 24, 2022, in a shooting incident at Peck Park in San Pedro. The shooting occurred around 3:50 p.m. during a car show and a weekly softball game, events that had drawn hundreds of people to the park.
