Corey Shearer, a 20-year-old former high school football star from Amador County, was tragically shot and killed at a party in Rancho Cordova, California, on August 5, 2022. The incident occurred on the 3000 block of Ramsgate Way, where Shearer was attending a gathering. Despite the immediate response from emergency services, Shearer succumbed to his injuries at a hospital shortly after the shooting.
