On the night of August 30, 2022, Ulises Avilez, a 34-year-old resident of Lost Hills, California, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 14000 block of Lamberson Avenue. When deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene, they found Avilez with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, Gerardo Junior Gonzalez, was also found with gunshot wounds and was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition. Gonzal ...
