On November 7, 2022, Lloyd Von Meerscheidt was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Weaverville, California. The incident began around 9:15 a.m. when the Trinity County Sheriff's Office received a report of a shooting in the parking lot of a local business. Upon arrival, deputies found Shane Gillespie dead at the scene.
