Anita Turke MacLachlan, aged 33, tragically lost her life on January 1, 1969, in Westernville, New York, during a horrific mass shooting incident. The event, known as the Westernville New Year's Day shooting, was perpetrated by her husband, Ralph MacLachlan, a 35-year-old meat cutter and church elder.
