Peter M. Paige, a 49-year-old Brink's guard, tragically lost his life on October 20, 1981, during a violent robbery at the Nanuet Mall in Nanuet, New York. Paige, who had been working for Brink's since 1956, was ambushed by a group of domestic terrorists associated with the Black Liberation Army and the Weather Underground.
