In the late summer of 2011, a family trip to Lake George, New York, ended in a devastating tragedy that claimed the life of three-year-old Mia Parcells. The young girl, along with her ten-year-old half-sister Noel, was found deceased inside a tent at the Adirondack Camping Village. The discovery was made by the campground's owner, who grew concerned after noticing the family's car hatchback had been left open for an extended period.
