Danielle Lawrence, a 17-year-old from Wading River, NY, tragically lost her life on February 15, 2015, in a harrowing incident that shook the community. Danielle and her mother, Tanya Lawrence, were victims of a double murder-suicide perpetrated by Tanya's boyfriend, Thomas Calhoun. The incident occurred at their home on 12th Street, where Calhoun shot both Tanya and Danielle before turning the gun on himself.
