In the spring of 2016, a visit to Schenectady, New York, turned fatal for a man from Brooklyn. Taquan Foreman, a 29-year-old male, was shot inside an apartment on Paige Street on the night of May 6th. He was rushed to Ellis Hospital in a private vehicle but succumbed to his gunshot wounds.
The investigation into Foreman's death led Schenectady police to an apartment at 410 Paige St., which they identified as the likely crime scene.
Within weeks, authorities made three arrests in connection with the homicide. Tyshawn Plowden, Arsheen Montgomery, and Jahsiah Tucker were taken into custody. Plowden and Montgomery faced charges of second-degree murder, while Tucker was charged with offenses related to burglary.
