Christopher Curro, a 25-year-old resident of Massapequa, New York, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2020, in Farmingdale. Curro was shot and killed by an off-duty NYPD officer, Errick Allen, who was also his childhood friend. The incident occurred during a confrontation between the two men, which escalated to a fatal shooting.
