On September 13, 2016, David Foster, aged 49, was fatally shot in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred late at night on Leonidas Street, located in the Second District of the city. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 9:53 p.m. When they arrived, they discovered Foster with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention from Emergency Medical Services (EMS), he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner later confirmed his identity.
