On February 16, 2021, Ronald Mann was found dead in a burning car on the Palisades Parkway in Stony Point, New York. The discovery was made in the early hours of the morning when state troopers responded to a report of a vehicle engulfed in flames. Upon extinguishing the fire, authorities found Mann's body inside the car. The Rockland County Medical Examiner's Office later determined that Mann had died from a gunshot wound, and his death was ruled a homicide.
