On a late summer evening in Stony Point, New York, a domestic argument set in motion a tragic chain of events that would end a life. On September 18, 2022, Jason Colwell, a 47-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident began earlier in the day with a dispute between Colwell and his wife. Following the argument, his wife left their Garnerville home and sought refuge at a friend's residence on Mott Farm Road.
