In the summer of 2021, a quiet Sunday afternoon in Elmont, New York, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of Rodmon Green, a 49-year-old man from the neighboring community of South Floral Park. On June 20th, police responded to reports of a shooting in the vicinity of Carnegie Avenue. Upon their arrival, they discovered Green suffering from a gunshot wound. He was a male.
