Lori Ann Lewis Rivera was one of the ten people killed during the three-week reign of terror orchestrated by the D.C. snipers. The random and senseless nature of the killings instilled widespread fear throughout the Washington metropolitan area. For weeks, residents were gripped by anxiety as the snipers, John Allen Muhammad and his teenage accomplice Lee Boyd Malvo, carried out their deadly attacks from the trunk of a modified Chevrolet Caprice.
