In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the quiet streets of Lewisdale, Maryland, were shattered by the sound of gunfire, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Just after 12:30 a.m. on March 31, 2012, police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 20th Avenue and Amherst Street. Their investigation led them to the 2000 block of Woodberry Street, where they discovered the body of 19-year-old Lester Amilcar Flores-Quintanilla.
