Barbara Giomarelli, aged 42, tragically passed away on November 20, 2013, in New Market, Maryland. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing, as it was part of an apparent murder-suicide. Barbara, her husband Benyam "Ben" Asefa, and their 3-month-old son Samuel were found dead in their home on Woods Court. The Frederick County Sheriff's Office reported that all three had been shot, and a handgun was recovered at the scene.
