On a Tuesday afternoon in Baltimore, 31-year-old Laron Griffin was standing outside the Family Mini-Mart in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when his life was abruptly cut short. It was February 28, 2017, and in broad daylight, a man approached him and opened fire, striking him multiple times before fleeing the scene on foot. One of the bullets tragically struck Griffin through the heart.
