Robert Mitchell Jr., aged 53, was found dead on August 25, 2017, near Fahrney Church Road in Boonsboro, Maryland. His body was discovered by deputies who subsequently launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The authorities requested assistance from the public, asking anyone who had seen Mitchell between 1 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on the day of his death to come forward with information.
