In the quiet farming community of Sharpsburg, Maryland, the tranquility was shattered in early May of 2018 with the discovery of a beloved elderly woman and her son, both victims of a brutal act of violence in their own home. Evelyn Rowland, an 83-year-old female, who had dedicated 37 years to working at the Washington County Hospital before retiring, was found deceased in her residence on Shepherdstown Pike. Also discovered at the scene was her son, Jack 'Michael' Rowland, who was 51 years old. ...
