Evelyn Rowland, aged 83, passed away on May 2, 2018, at her home in Sharpsburg, Maryland. She was a long-time resident of the area, having worked at Washington County Hospital for 37 years before retiring in 2010. Evelyn was known for her dedication to her family and her community, often spending her time reading, painting, and supporting the Baltimore Orioles. Her death, however, was not due to natural causes but was the result of a tragic and violent incident.
