Heather Zujkowski, a 36-year-old mother and veteran from Mount Airy, Maryland, tragically lost her life on April 2, 2020. Heather was a victim of a deadly domestic violence incident, where she was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Joseph Zujkowski. The incident occurred outside their home, where Heather and her teenage neighbor, Noah Homayouni, were both shot. Noah, who was practicing lacrosse in his yard, was also killed in the attack.
