Darius Cooper, a 25-year-old resident of Gaithersburg, Maryland, tragically lost his life on January 9, 2021. The incident occurred at his apartment complex on South Frederick Avenue. According to reports, the Montgomery County Police Department responded to 911 calls reporting a gunshot at the location. Upon arrival, they found Cooper with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
