Concerns grew among colleagues when 66-year-old Geoffrey Biddle, a business executive, failed to report for work on a Thursday in June 2021. This uncharacteristic absence prompted them to request a welfare check at his Bethesda, Maryland, home. On June 24, 2021, Montgomery County police officers entered the residence on Windsor Lane to find a grim scene; Biddle was discovered deceased inside.
