In the quiet town of Pittsville, Maryland, a dedicated law enforcement officer's life was tragically cut short in the line of duty. Deputy First Class Glenn Hilliard of the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, a 41-year-old male, was a 16-year veteran of law enforcement. He had served with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office for six years and had previously been with the Berlin Police Department for a decade. A husband and a father to three children, he was known as a dedicated public servant.
