Heather Brooke Center, an 8-year-old girl from Chesnee, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on July 8, 2009. Heather, who was affectionately known by her middle name Brooke, was a third grader at Reidville Elementary School and an active participant in her local Little League baseball team. On the day of her death, she was brutally murdered by Rickey Lee Blackwell Sr., a 54-year-old man from Chesnee.
