Ignacio Calmo, age 32, was shot and killed on December 18, 2016, outside a church in Oakland, California. He was attending a funeral service at Iglesia de Dios Church, where he was playing guitar as part of the ceremony. During a break, Calmo stepped outside the church, where he was unexpectedly attacked and shot. He was described as a loving father of two and an active member of his community.
