Richard Allen Fields, aged 51, tragically lost his life on October 29, 2013, in a mass shooting incident in Bradley, South Carolina. The incident occurred at the Fields' residence on Callison Highway, where Richard lived with his wife, Melissa Maroney Fields, and other family members. The shooter, Bryan Eugene Sweatt, was involved in a custody dispute with his ex-girlfriend, Chandra Marie Fields, who was also one of the victims.
