Tycus Metricus Toland, a 29-year-old resident of Pelion, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on April 26, 2014. The incident occurred during a transaction that began on Craigslist, where Tycus and his brother, Vonkeith Toland, had arranged to meet two men to sell a car. The meeting took place outside a home on Bushberry Road near Pelion. Upon arrival, the two suspects opened fire on the brothers, resulting in Tycus being killed at the scene and Vonkeith being seriously injured.
