Do you know who murdered Laymon Baker? In the late hours of a Sunday night in Louisville, Kentucky, tragedy struck in the Portland neighborhood. On July 19, 2015, 38-year-old Laymon Lavelle Baker was inside a location in the 2500 block of Duncan Street when he was shot. First Division officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the scene just after 11:30 p.m. and found Baker with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was a resident of a home on the same block where the shooting occurred.
