Cedric M. Gantt Sr. tragically lost his life on September 7, 2014, in Ward, South Carolina. The incident occurred early in the morning along Highway 23. According to reports, Gantt was involved in an altercation at a residence. The homeowner, who knew Gantt and the individuals accompanying him, allowed them inside his home. However, an argument ensued, leading the homeowner to ask them to leave.
