In the small community of Latta, South Carolina, the life of 30-year-old Tiana Lanette Mendez was cut tragically short on the night of November 15, 2014. A waitress at the local Huddle House, Tiana was known for her friendly nature. That evening, she was found deceased in her home on Forestdale Court in the Floydale community. Alongside her were her husband, Miguel Mendez, and a friend, Summer Grice. The grim discovery was made by a nine-year-old child who immediately called for help.
