In the early hours of August 12, 2015, the quiet, rural community of Galivants Ferry, South Carolina, woke to the news that one of its own had been killed. Lyndon Tisdale, a 50-year-old male from the Plainfield Road area of the community, was found shot to death inside his home shortly after midnight, his name quickly becoming the center of a homicide investigation in Horry County.
