In the summer of 2016, a birthday celebration in Louisville, Kentucky, turned into a scene of tragedy. Andre Mosely, a 47-year-old Black male, was one of the victims in a triple shooting that occurred on the evening of Tuesday, August 9, 2016. The incident took place in the Parkland neighborhood, at a home on 26th and Kentucky Street, where guests had gathered for a 60th birthday party.
