In the summer of 2016, a single act of violence cut short the life of Travis Coaxum, a 32-year-old male from Charleston, South Carolina. On the evening of June 30th, the sounds of gunfire shattered the night's quiet, leaving Coaxum fatally wounded. He was discovered on the porch of a residence, having sustained gunshot wounds that would ultimately prove fatal. The Charleston County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity and the cause of his death.
