In the heart of Louisville, a life was tragically cut short on a February afternoon. Joseph Ervin Bradford, III, a 32-year-old Caucasian male, was found lifeless in an alley near the intersection of 17th Street and Broadway. It was Thursday, February 2, 2017, and the city would soon record this as its seventh homicide of the year. Bradford, a resident of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, had succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
