In the late autumn of 2017, the life of 49-year-old Gary Dale Hickman came to a violent end in the small community of Round O, South Carolina. On Friday, November 17, 2017, a dispute connected to the dangerous world of illegal drugs escalated into a fatal confrontation, leaving Hickman dead from a gunshot wound to the head. The incident unfolded inside a camper on Hickman's property located on Jason Lane, a place that would become the scene of a homicide investigation.
