A 35-year-old Black/African American woman, Stephanie Ann Robinson, was fatally shot in Orangeburg, South Carolina, in the early morning hours of Saturday, June 9, 2018. The incident occurred at a residence on Mels Court, where deputies from the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office responded to several 911 calls just after 5 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Robinson on the ground with what appeared to be a wound to her head.
