In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the life of 27-year-old Safiya Daniels, a female resident of Irmo, was tragically cut short by gunfire. The shooting occurred on August 21, 2022, on Buckley Street, in close proximity to the South Carolina State University campus.
