Claudette Purry, aged 54, tragically lost her life on April 17, 2019, in Pickens, South Carolina. The incident occurred when Marco Vaught, the ex-boyfriend of Claudette's niece, Rebecca Purry, showed up at Claudette's home. Rebecca had recently moved in with her aunt after leaving Vaught due to threats and abuse.
