Jerzie Unique Dejohnz Smith, an 18-year-old from Anderson, South Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on June 27, 2019, at the Stop-A-Minit convenience store on East River Street in Anderson. The incident occurred around 6 p.m., and Smith was pronounced dead at the scene after being shot twice in the chest. The Anderson County Coroner's Office ruled his death a homicide.
