On the night before Thanksgiving, November 25, 2020, 30-year-old Tonya Denise Burch was shot and killed in Richburg, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in a car parked outside a home on Kati Lane. Burch, a mother of two and a manager at a Subway in Rock Hill, was found by Chester County Sheriff's deputies with gunshot wounds to her head and leg and was pronounced dead at the scene.
